Houston Roadtrip

The last weekend in September we took our first roadtrip as a family of 4.  Vince took off Friday and we headed to Houston once Cambria went down for a morning nap.  She slept the whole way there.  It was so wonderful to visit with family and friends.  Cambria was able to meet 3 more of her great grandparents (Vince's Mimi and Daddy Ralph and my Grandaddy).  

Saturday my mom and I took Cambria to the Stallworth house.  Taylor and I have been friends since we were 3 and were college roommates.  She had her second baby, Lauren Olivia on September 11.  It was so surreal to sit in her parents' living room with our children.  

Saturday night we had about 20 family (and unofficial family) members over to the Tyler's house for dinner.  We celebrated Jeanna's, Lawson's (Charlie's youngest son), and Frank's (Toni's boyfriend) birthdays and everybody who hadn't yet met Cambria had a chance.

It was a bit of a stressful trip for mommy because Cambria didn't sleep much during the days but she was a trooper and loved all of the attention.  She has seemed to recover fine and we would not trade the time with family for anything!
