Blessings abound

The week after Thanksgiving our family was blessed beyond belief to learn that we are expecting a baby!!!!  We are due August 8th and I am 13 weeks pregnant as of January 31st.  Here are a few pictures to document the past three months.
I didn't believe the first "cheap" test so we got one that literally spelled it out.

Gotta start 'em young

Just before Christmas we had an ultrasound where the baby measured at 7 weeks.  It's the little blob next to the white circle in the bottom picture.

Parked here for the first time when I was shopping for a friend's baby shower

Houston Christmas

On the 26th we headed to Houston for the last round of Christmas celebration.  We had a Christmas morning with my parents, Reid, and Oma.  The next morning Steven, Heidi, and the kids came over early and we did presents and breakfast before Steven went to work.  They were heading to Aruba the next morning.  We also had time to hang out with lots of friends and share good times.  We didn't take too many pictures but here are a few...

Denton Christmas

On Christmas Eve we headed to Denton to spend Christmas with Vince's side of the family.  Aunt Kristi hosted us and we had a blast watching the boys with their presents.  Christmas morning we woke up to severe storms and by noon or so it was snowing.  We had a steady snow for three to four hours.  The adults, kids, and dogs enjoyed the white Christmas!

Logan got a new bike from Santa but it was icy outside.  So he rode around inside playing his harmonic for the dogs

Trinity Christmas

We spent the first of our week off in Trinity celebrating Christmas with the Tyler side of the family.  Saturday was beautiful and we spent the afternoon outside.  As it cooled off we moved indoor for a delicious pot luck style meal and presents.  Vince and I stayed an extra night and enjoyed some time with Grandmommy Sunday morning.  She has a new poodle puppy, Tess, who loved having Mack as a play partner.  All three of us had a wonderful time!

Vince got a bow tie for his office party and was very excited to wear it so we had to take a picture

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Houston, going back and forth between our parents' houses.  Charlie, Derek, the boys, and Aunt Kristi also made it to town by Friday.  We celebrated Derek and Logan's joint birthdays too.  On our way back to Austin on Sunday we drove through College Station and hung out at the Lokey house for Logan's pre-birthday party.

November in DFW

In November we made two back to back trips to the DFW area (not our idea of fun but it was for people we love).  The first weekend we were in Dallas celebrating Vince's cousin Elyse and her family.  Last year she and her husband Hunter were married and welcomed their daughter Jane.  This year we celebrated Jane's baptism and their marriage in the Catholic church.  It was a fun day celebrating and visiting with the family.

The next weekend we headed to Fort Worth for Nick and Kelly's wedding at the zoo.  Nick and Vince have worked together for a few years now.  We don't have any pictures from that one but we had a blast checking out the zoo, eating a ninja turtle groom's cake, and dancing!

Here are a few pictures from the Carson family celebration...
