Month #4

I desperately wish I hadn't waited so long to blog about her monthly milestones because it seems like forever ago!  I can barely remember what things were like.  Luckily I wrote a few things down as we were going through it.

-Bedtime is still the most predictable part of the day.  Cambria will be asleep by 7 and sleeps until around 6 or so most nights.  So blessed to be getting sleep!  She has now become a side sleeper.  She also will not take the pacifier anymore.  If she does take it when we put her down for a nap or something she will usually rip it out and start sucking her thumb.  I think the thumb sucking is going to stick.

-Cambria is talking more and more.  On November 1st she chuckled out loud for the first time!  It was the most amazing sound I've ever heard!!  We're getting a few consonant sounds every once in a while now but they are all velar and gutteral.  She's starting to drool like crazy too.

-She is still boycotting tummy time and rolling for now.  We're still working on it.  Cambria consistently sleeps on her side which the doctor said was kind of unusual but fine.

-Feeding hasn't really changed other than the fact that it's completely second nature to us now which is awesome!

-Other stuff - Cambria has really started to discover her arms and legs.  She's flailing and kicking all the time now.  We've started using the Bumbo chair more and she likes to sit in the bathroom with me when I get ready in the morning.  We also use it in the kitchen.  At her 4 month check up the doctor said that she thinks her eyes will stay blue.  They're big and beautiful!

I don't have many pictures because we were in a huge hurry to take them.  Cambria and I were headed to Houston the weekend of her 4 month birthday so I could go to my friend Claire's bachelorette party.  We were trying to take a few pictures before we left.  Sorry there aren't more!
