Welcome Cambria Ray Tyler

So this post is a bit overdue but better late than never!  On Wednesday, July 24th we welcomed our daughter Cambria Ray Tyler.

My water broke Tuesday evening & we were settled into the hospital room by 9:30 or so.  We progressed through labor with lots of walking and time on an exercise ball.  I finally caved and got an epidural around 6am.  I pushed for about an hour and a half and Cambria was born at 10:44 in the morning.  She was perfect, healthy, 6lbs 4oz, and 19.25 inches long.  Labor and delivery could not have been more perfect.  If you want more details just ask - I would love to share!

We were so incredibly blessed to have family and friends at the hospital.  All of our parents, half of our missional community, my little brother, and Sarah and Claire (my childhood friends) were all in the waiting room.  Even though they weren't with us in the room we could feel their prayers!

Once we were settled into our room we saw many of our visitors.  That evening we had basically our entire missional community (or our church family as I like to call them) come up for Cambria's 0 Birth Day Party.  Katie and Derek made a delicious cake and everyone was there to celebrate our beautiful blessing!

We had more visitors Thursday and were released from the hospital Friday around lunch.  We delivered at St. David's North Austin Medical Center and cannot say enough good things about them!  The nurses, staff, and whole experience were wonderful!

So I've picked some pictures from those days in the hospital to share below.  We have a Shutterfly site with TONS of pictures so if you want an invitation to check those out just let me know.  We hope you enjoy our baby girl!!!
