Houston Baby Shower

We spent last weekend in Houston with so many celebrations!  Saturday during the day our friends and family hosted a baby shower.  Saturday evening Vince's best friend Krish proposed to his girl friend with an epic flash mob choreographed dance.  Sunday was Father's day and my mom's birthday.  It was a fabulous weekend!

Unfortunately I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes last week but so far everything has been fine.  We are seeing a specialist in addition to our regular OB and even got some unexpected 3D ultrasound pictures.  As we drove to Houston Friday evening Vince made the point that it was our last trip without a baby.  It is pretty crazy to think about how things are about to change.  Enjoy the pictures...there's a bunch!

My favorite present might be this "T" that Sarah and Claire made for us

Diaper cake made by Claire's mom

Our mom's and family members took care of all the yummy food and things while Claire and Sarah were in charge of decorations. It was all amazing!

Even with my diabetes diagnosis I enjoyed some yummy cake!

Vince was there for most of the shower because there were so many family friends that wanted to see him.  It made it extra fun to open presents.

The kiddos helped out with opening presents too

People wrote messages on diapers...that will make it more enjoyable right?

Sean had a good time and was glad that he wasn't the only guy there.

Brooke gave the baby a name tag too.  She also made one for Vince that said "Big Daddy" but somehow we missed getting a picture.

"Look Aunt Lauren we look like you"

We haven't taken a belly picture in a long time so here is 33 weeks...looking a bit tired after working to empty out the nursery and organizing things

Here's baby T - 7 weeks or so

Traditional ultrasound but I love that profile
